CONTINENCE AIDS PAYMENT SCHEME - CAPS   

For the financial year 2020-2021 the Caps payment is $623.80. You can choose one full payment in July, or two half payments in July and January each year. You can buy any continence product with your CAPS payment.

Summary Of Eligibility  

• Five years of age or older 
• Have a permanent and severe loss of bladder and/or bowel function caused by an eligible neurological condition 
• Or an other eligible "other condition" and have a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card (whether as a primary cardholder or whether as a primary cardholder or cardholder's dependent).
• If you are not receiving continence aid funding through the NDIS, or Home Care Package

NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME or NDIS 

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides individualised support for people with a permanent and significant disability. The scheme is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). 

Summary Of Eligibility  

• Under 65 years of age  
• Due to a disability you require continence care products

DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS or DVA 

The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) provides free continence products through the Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP). iD, Lillle and Kylie products are available on the RAP programme for a full list go to DVA Brochure. 

Summary Of Eligibility  

• Hold a Gold Card (eligible for treatment of all conditions whether or not they are related to war services) 
• Hold a White Card and the incontinence is a result of a specific accepted disability (to determine eligibility contact the Rehabilitation Appliances Program at DVA) 
• Have been assessed by a health professional as requiring products for incontinence

MyAgedCare 

MyAgedCare is the Australian Government program that funds aged care services. The Government fund different levels of Home Care packages from level 1 to 4. 

Summary Of Eligibility   

• For people aged 65+ 
• If you admitted to a public, private or NFP aged care facility 
• You will need to be assessed on your suitability to receive a Home Care Package. You can either manage the Home Care Package yourself or a find a provider to manage for you.
